About the Program
The Housing Stability & Homelessness Prevention Fund is designed to help individuals and families facing housing insecurity, displacement, or homelessness regain stability and move toward long-term independence. EVAH Have Life believes that safe, stable housing is foundational to rebuilding lives, strengthening families, and creating healthier communities..
The program will provide emergency housing assistance and transitional housing support for individuals and families experiencing immediate housing crises. Support will focus on helping people move from instability into safe temporary housing while developing a pathway toward permanent housing and greater self-sufficiency.
Housing instability often affects far more than where someone sleeps. Participants may receive hygiene and food support, individualized case management, resource navigation, and connections to community services. Case managers will work with participants to identify immediate needs, overcome barriers, establish goals, and develop personalized stability plans.
To help create lasting stability, the program will connect participants with job placement resources and workforce training. Services may include employment readiness, skills development, career resources, vocational opportunities, and connections to employers—helping individuals establish sustainable income and greater economic independence.
The goal extends beyond temporary assistance. EVAH Have Life seeks to address the circumstances that contribute to housing instability by combining housing support with employment resources, essential needs assistance, case management, and opportunities for personal and economic advancement. The ultimate goal is to help individuals and families move from crisis to stability, and from stability to self-sufficiency.
Future initiatives may include the development of tiny home villages, rapid rehousing programs, safe parking initiatives, and community shelter partnerships. These programs will expand access to safe temporary and permanent housing solutions while creating a coordinated network of support for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
Restoring stability and hope through housing, essential resources, employment opportunities, and compassionate pathways toward lasting independence.
