About the Fund

The Senior Support & Dignity Fund is dedicated to ensuring that elders are supported, respected, connected, and able to maintain their dignity throughout every stage of aging. EVAH Have Life seeks to create a compassionate network of resources that helps seniors remain safe, independent, engaged, and valued within their communities.

The fund will provide emergency financial assistance, along with food and transportation support, to seniors experiencing financial hardship or unexpected challenges. Assistance may help address immediate needs while connecting elders with additional community resources that promote greater stability and independence.

Through home wellness visits, seniors can receive additional support and connection within the comfort of their homes. These visits can help identify everyday needs, provide resource navigation, encourage social connection, and help elders maintain greater independence and quality of life.

The program will provide technology assistance to help seniors confidently use phones, computers, video communication, online resources, and other everyday technology. Companionship programs will also create opportunities for meaningful human connection, helping reduce isolation while keeping elders engaged with their families and communities.

EVAH Have Life believes our elders are not only people to care for—they are valuable sources of knowledge, history, wisdom, and lived experience. Through intergenerational mentorship, younger generations can learn from elders while seniors remain actively connected to and celebrated within the community. These relationships can strengthen families, preserve community knowledge, and build greater understanding between generations.

Future initiatives may include expanded intergenerational mentorship programs, elder housing assistance, community caregiver training, and comprehensive senior wellness programs. These efforts will help build stronger systems of support for seniors while equipping families and communities with the knowledge and resources needed to care for and honor their elders.
